These terms are the agreement between you and Making Stuffs Ltd ("we", "us") when you use Barking Dog Spider. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
The service
Barking Dog Spider is a technical SEO crawler that runs in your browser. Crawls run on our servers, and you can save, schedule and export them.
Your account
- One account is for one person. Don't share your sign-in.
- Use an email address that's yours and that works. We send sign-in codes, password resets and crawl emails to it.
- Keep your password and any API token safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
Acceptable use
Crawl only sites you own or have permission to crawl. You must not:
- use the service to attack, overload or probe sites, or to scrape them against their terms;
- store or process illegal content with it;
- resell or share access to the service.
If you break these rules, we may stop your crawls, or suspend or close your account. Where we can, we'll tell you why first.
Plans and limits
Each plan has limits, such as URLs per crawl and per month. They're listed in the pricing section. When you reach a limit, crawls stop and your data stays put. We may change plans and limits, and we'll tell you before a change that affects a plan you've paid for.
Payments
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Pro renews automatically each month or year until you cancel.
Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel any time, and you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. Our refund policy explains when you can get your money back.
Your data
Your crawls, settings and schedules are yours. You can export your crawls, and you can delete them, or your whole account, from the app at any time. Our privacy policy explains what we store and why.
No guarantees
We provide the service as it is. We work to keep it running and its results right, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free or accurate. Check anything important before you rely on it.
Our liability
Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for lost profits, revenue or data, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll email you before it takes effect. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the new terms. If you don't, you can close your account.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute.
