Is it really as thorough as a desktop crawler?
Yes. Barking Dog Spider covers the same audits: response codes, metadata, canonicals, hreflang, structured data, rendering and more. The difference is where it runs.
What happens if I go over my monthly URLs?
Crawls stop at the limit and your data stays put. The allowance resets on the 1st.
Do I need my own API keys?
Only for the extras: AI, link metrics, PageSpeed and Google. The crawler itself needs nothing.
Can I cancel?
Any time. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for, then drop to Free and keep your saved crawls.
Does it respect robots.txt?
Yes, by default. You can tell it to ignore robots.txt for sites you own or have permission to crawl, and you can test a robots.txt before a crawl.
Who can see my crawls?
Only you. Each account's crawls, schedules and settings are private to it, and we don't look at them unless you ask us to help with something.
